At Pray Family Dentistry we provide Analgesia Nitrous Oxide and Oral Conscious Sedation. Nitrous Oxide is more commonly known as “laughing gas” and is a mild sedative. It reduces pain and relieves anxiety throughout the procedure. Oral Conscious Sedation is a stronger alternative to only nitrous oxide, inducing a moderate state of sedation. Oral medication is provided before treatment and throughout the procedure as needed. Though this medicine does not induce sleep, they do dull your senses making it less likely of remembering the procedure afterwards.
